you and your one sided swords
one side is a sharp blade,
the other side is the whole world.
how do you cut with that?
The Blender
You have to jump into the blender. It is necessary for you to do that. Just jump into the blender and work with it. Then you will begin to feel that you are swimming in the blender. You might even enjoy it a little bit, after you have been processed. - Chogyam Trungpa

It's Easy
It's easy
After a day of archeology
Pitiless conditions
Sweaty tools
When that bastard sun sets
And you hold up that raw rock
In the dark
It's easy
To forget what a find it was
It is

I Am Grateful...
I am grateful for my life's disappointments, even though they still can make me cry.
I am starting to like who I am becoming and if I had been happy and content the last dozen years then I probably wouldn't have worked as hard to move forward and grow.
Trying.

Will Connections Never Cease?
What is shame? What is pain? What is death? What is fear of death?
May each and every one of us live untethered to madness by fear; instead screaming our OWWWS! and soaring through the ether like gods, like humans, the things that rise.

The Way Has Always Known Both Sides of the Pond
He who binds to himself a Joy,
Does the winged life destroy;
He who kisses the joy as it flies,
Lives in Eternity's sunrise.
- Wm. Blake
This isn't pie in the sky verbage. Moment to moment sensations when met with an open hand and ungrasping mind are intense as hell and will get you high as a kite.

Time To Enter the Dreaming Once More.
My other self has been so secretive for so long; I hope he's getting up to massive trouble. Now how for my entrance? Knock at one of the main gates? Burrow under the wall? Fly or hop? I think I'll go through that crack in the corner where the ceiling used to meet the wall.
The Guru Speaks
Don't be an inert wuss, no magnificent change will happen unless you push past your physical limits. Time for yoga.
Me paraphrasing BKS Iyengar.

The Path is the Goal.
The path is the goal. What? You didn't think the way would be smooth and easy, did you? That's something else.

Setting an intention
Setting an intention for my day before I get up is a new habit for me. But I think it's a keeper. I've kinda refined it and most days it consists of 'be kind to myself' and 'stay conscious'. What I've noticed is that isn't as simple as just making the choice to do it, there is some actual effort involved, some days it's easier to do it than others.
Every single thought that you ever have...
Every single thought that you ever have leaves its imprint on your physical body.
Manjushri, lord of wisdom, no one, lord of nothing...
Manjushri, lord of wisdom, no one, lord of nothing, come and slice this I to pieces, do nothing to me, leave me a glowing ball of gas, just as I am now, cut away my obstacles, do nothing, remove what blinds me, change nothing, I am ready, I'm already there.
